"Michael worked as a dialogue editor and sound editor on our feature film Life Of Lemon. We at Tigerstorm Productions were more then satisfied with Michael’s work. Michael is extremely organized, punctual, hit’s set deadlines, and is over all easy to work with. We had an audio problem with a scene we thought we were going to have to get an actor back from NY to do ADR. Michael was able to work his magic from other takes and salvage the scene. This saved us time and money." "Michael worked on Death and Cremation as a sound post supervisor, a sound designer, and dialogue editor. His work enabled our premiere at Fox studios in August. He came in as one of a few team members but stayed on the entire way through a long post period and kept order of a 80gb ProTools session that had between 20 and 30 people work on it. Michael was able to keep order within the team and collate the various sound work that would filter in. He also jumped from dialogue editing to foley to mixing our trailer without any problem or loss of time." "When Grubby Games hired Michael Huang to work on our first title, 'Professor Fizzwizzle', we weren't sure what we were going to get. We needed a fairly specific cartoony feel for the game, and Michael adapted easily to our requirements and produced outstanding results (for both sound effects, and music). However, he didn't stop there. Michael consistently went above-and-beyond, often giving us multiple sounds to choose from for a single effect, suggesting new sound effects where the game needed them, and truly helping us to create a better game." "After Michael provided the score for my film "University Challenge" earlier this year, I was eager to work with him again on my newest project "Death of a Killer". When I received Michael's score to the film, I was once again very impressed. His score surpassed my expectations and demonstrated that he is more than capable of scoring a film. His cues were perfect film scoring and featured everything from emotional piano pieces to fully orchestral action cues, each piece matching the action on-screen and complimenting the footage perfectly. He introduced and developed his themes from the opening scenes right up to the end titles." "Michael did the music and sound effects for Tino's Fruit Stand. He did a good job and is a great value. I recommend him, as long as he's not busy working on my next game!" "I've hired Michael as a sound designer for the game "Depth of Peril, he is very fast, needs very little direction, and produces very good high quality sound effects." "Michael has been a tremendous asset for our first 2 games. His talent for creating vibrant musical scores, along with superb sound effects, is truly top notch. I still marvel at his cooking sound effects and the customers' voices for Burger Rush. I would highly recommend his talents and services to anyone seeking very cost-effective, yet high quality sounds and music. At Gamenauts, we feel very satisfied and fortunate to have him as part of our team." "Michael worked quickly and efficiently with us and did his task with the greatest autonomy and sense of initiative. We shall be glad to provide him with more orders in the future." "While employed at Sierra On-line, I worked with various music composers and sound effect creators. I later co-founded Inhuman Games. When we need audio, we turn to Michael Huang. It is a pleasure working with Michael. His professionalism is reminiscent of what you'd find in a big game studio. We are very satisfied with his work and we highly recommend him." "I hired Michael to create original audio scores, and sound effects to be used in our PC gaming title. Michael has delivered high quality assets, at a reasonable cost, that have always been creative and original. Additionally, the turn around time has been very satisfying." "Michael is a very creative and professional musician. He has exceeded our expectations and we hope to work with him again on our other projects." "Michael's work was top notch, well thought out, and always on time. As far as music and general audio contracting goes, you won't find a better lead man or a better price for his level of quality." "Michael's ear for composition and the final results are exceptional. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for original sound tracks for games, animations, films, etc." |
The quirky happy music of Fizzball is a perfect fit for the feel of the title. Anyone familiar with Professor Fizzwizzle will notice recognize the main tune immediately. And again, just as there are tons of animal graphics, there are tons of animal sounds, each triggered every time an animal is bumped with the Fizzball. It's as engaging to listen to as it is to look at." "(Professor Fizzwizzle).... The music tracks are quirky tunes that makes me think of the music from the old LucasArts adventure titles like Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. The sound effects in the game are as vibrant and crisp as the graphics themselves. Everything, including the Professor's tiny footsteps, comes through nice and clear. "(cupid's match-up).... The variety and quantity in the music tracks in the game is quite wonderful. There is a different feel from a relaxed mood to more up-beat pieces. Each is well-done." "(Little Gods).... The soft wind sound effect on several of the levels is dead on, as well. It actually made me take off my headphones at one point so I could try to figure out whether it was coming from the game or not. All the in-game sound effects are nice and clear." |
